GDPR (general data protection regulation) is a hot topic these last few weeks. After a lot of data leaked from Facebook, employees of the biggest social network started to create new tools for data protection.
You can read how tools work and what Facebook recommend here.
Facebook F8 – Clear history tool
Global conference for developers, Facebook F8, took place earlier this month in San Jose, California.
Mark Zuckerberg informed about new tool Clear History on his Facebook profile just before the conference. New tool has the same functions as Cookies in your web browser. It means – one click and you can delete browsing history on Facebook.
Facebook developers are working hard on this tool and it will be functional in the coming months.
Facebook F8 – Instagram news
During conference, Zuck has also announced news about Instagram.
New Explore feed is the first and the most expected one. Posts will be ordered by an algorythm, that indicates which posts are the most interesting for you. Next innovation is a video-chat. By this Instagram video chat you can communicate with your friends and family and at the same time you can scroll your feed.
The last news is sharing the song you are listening at Spotify. Your insta friends can open the sharing song at Spotify and also videos from your GoPro. You can adjust you GoPro videos to recommended 15 seconds.
Also, new AR effects will be available during the next few weeks.
Facebook F8 – Dating App
Mission of this dating app is to “build long-term relationships, not just hook-ups” as Zuck said. App supposed to be the biggest competitor of Tinder, which is actually the biggest dating app in the market.
