Welcome to 2018! 🎆 🙌 2017 has been a great year for the world of marketing and we believe it won’t be different this year!
Instagram introduces Instagram Stories archive
Instagram Stories has become a key part of how businesses stand out and inspire action on Instagram – but there hasn’t been a way to keep them around for more than 24 hours. Now your business can better express itself by grouping stories that are shared into highlights and featuring them on its profile. Story highlights appear in a new section on your profile below your bio. To create a highlight, tap the “New” circle at the far left and choose any stories from your archive, select a cover for your highlight and name it.
Moving forward, your stories will automatically save to your archive when they expire. This makes it easy for you to revisit your business’s favourite moments later on or bring them back to life in a highlight.
Messenger by numbers in 2017
Messenger ranks among Facebook and Instagram as one of the most important (and most popular) platforms in the Facebook family. Numbers are the proof of what happened to Messenger last year. Check it out!
For some types of businesses chat bot is suitable but it is not a solution for every brand since automated reply may infuriate some customers. Of course, bots are not perfect as they cannot always provide customers with a 100 % perfect response and that is when discontent appears. Chat bots are used more as creative communication tools in our region but it is just a matter of time until their full potential is unveiled. Their numbers grow which opens space for further Messenger use for advertising purposes.
What did Facebook bring in 2017?
Introducing Explore Feed, increasing profits, transparency issues or starting the new service – Watch. This and much more happened in 2017 on world’s largest social networking environment.
A pressure was created on the quality increase thanks to the Explore Feed. Content sharing receives a higher value because that is the only way for posts to appear in traditional “friends feed”. In case you planned deleting your Facebook account, don’t do so. It certainly has many things to offer in this year too.
TOP 3 YouTube campaigns of 2017
The most-viewed brand video of 2017 was about, well, video in 2017.
The latest of YouTube’s annual “Rewind” videos plays on popular uploads of the year, often with a musical theme, including megahits “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi with Daddy Yankee and Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” That’s a lot to overcome for even tech brands like LG and Samsung, regular staples of online video campaigns.
